Sela Signs an Exclusive Strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Peris Costumes Group for the Middle East to Develop the Production Costume and Wardrobe Sector

Sela has signed an exclusive strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Middle East with Peris Costumes Group, one of the world's leading production costume houses, to enhance the quality of costumes and wardrobe services used in film, television, and entertainment productions, while supporting the local production ecosystem through the transfer of international expertise and the development of specialized Saudi talent.

The agreement reflects Sela's commitment to building a more professional and integrated production ecosystem capable of keeping pace with the rapid growth of the entertainment and production industries across the Kingdom and the region. Through this partnership, advanced solutions will be introduced in costume design, production, rental, wardrobe management, and character and extras wardrobe services, in line with the highest international standards.

Under the agreement, Sela and Peris will work together to develop specialized production costume services, including access to an extensive inventory of historical and contemporary costumes, support for costume design and production teams, and practical solutions for large-scale productions requiring the preparation of large numbers of characters and extras. The partnership will also benefit from Peris' expertise across specialist workshops, including tailoring, leatherwork, footwear, accessories, jewellery, and the logistics associated with wardrobe management.

The agreement also includes the launch of training and development programmes for Saudi talent in costume design, wardrobe management, tailoring, character preparation, inventory management, and costume continuity. These initiatives will help create new career pathways within the production sector while preparing Saudi professionals to participate in local, regional, and international productions.

The partnership will also focus on transferring knowledge and practical expertise to the Saudi market through workshops, training programmes, professional development initiatives, and joint practical projects. This will further strengthen Saudi Arabia's position as a regional hub for the entertainment and production industries while supporting the ability of local companies to deliver projects with world-class quality and global competitiveness.
